Commissioned by software company Veracode to design the layout of an instructional manual detailing the company’s cyber security products. Formatted the manual as a responsive eBook and printed pamphlet. Illustrated the characters and designed the infographics.
Created a series of short animated educational videos for television broadcast addressing US immigration law and conflict scenarios for immigration law firm Tancino Law Offices, San Francisco, CA. Illustrated characters, environments and graphics that were animated using time-based software. Broadcasted on the GMA TV Network in the Philippines and the US.
As a contract designer for Nerdwallet.com, worked closely with the education team in interpreting rough concepts and data into a series of refined infographics. The series were used in articles on the company’s website that explained in easy-to-understand language the complexities of personal financing, the US tax system and stock market.
As staff graphic designer at Chrisad, Inc., Corte Madera, CA, produced layouts following in-house style guides for brochure mailers, postcards and instructional manuals. Retouched photos and worked with typography, iconography and color correction for pre-press files.
As a contract Production Designer for West Elm (subsidiary of Williams-Sonoma, San Francisco, CA) produced a high volume of web ads, web banners and splash pages within a time sensitive deadline.
Self-initiated series created in Adobe Illustrator. Produced as editorial satire poking fun of bad passenger behavior and as an homage to the graphic design of transfer tickets used in the San Francisco public bus system that was discontinued in 2017.
As a contract Production Designer for Levi’s and Levi’s Dockers, produced prototypes of graphic tees and pants pocket graphics.
Self-initiated editorial poster graphic produced in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Created as personal commentary shared on social media during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill of 2010.
Illustrated characters/environments and designed the layout of the bilingual Tagalog/English children’s book “Beautiful Eyes” by author Gayle Romasanta. Used in the current curriculum of the San Francisco Unified School District, the book is also included in the permanent collection of the San Francisco Public Library.
